Can you prepare prior year taxes or do amendments?

No - We have significantly less appointments available this year. Consequently, our primary goal is preparing 2022 tax returns for as many people as possible. You will have to use other preparers. Click for  IRS guidance on filing prior year taxes.

 

Can I get a head start on filling our documents?

Yes - Forms are available for Items and Forms Needed for an Appointment.

 

Can I pick up a packet before my appointment?

Yes - All the appointment locations have or will have packets available for pick-up.

• Some are available only when the site is doing taxes, e.g., Eugene Public Library will be doing taxes on Monday and Tuesday, so their packets will be available on the first floor near the check-in table.
• Others have packets available when the facility is open, e.g., Campbell Community Center will have the packets at the front desk when the center is open to the public and the days that taxes are being prepared.
• REMINDER:  PACKETS SHOULD BE FILLED OUT PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT, AS YOU MAY NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO COMPLETE BEFORE YOUR APPOIONTMENT AND YOU MAY LOSE YOUR APPOINTMENT IF THE LOCATION CANNOT ACCOMODATE YOU.
• Walk-in appointments will be given a packet to fill out at the time they obtain a same-day appointment.  Very important to be sure to bring all relevant tax documents with you, proper ID, and social security cards or ITINS to walk-in sites as you may lose your time slot if you do not have time to return home to get.
